The Forge at Wells offers a wide range of black traditional fire side tools and fire companion sets all of which are hand made in the Cathedral City of Wells.

The fireside tools include pokers, brushes, shovels, spring tongs and scissor tongs.

The C1 range of tools are 16" or 41cm long have plain untwisted handles with prices starting at £13.70 including VAT for the poker and reaching £41.85 including VAT for the spring tongs. All the C1 tools have popular ring shaped handles.

At the other end of the scale we offer the 24" or 60cm long Large Old English Fire Tools. The most popular item is the Large Poker (24" long) which sells at £23.35 including VAT. The Large Poker is also available with a hook to help control logs at an extra price of £7 making at total of £30.35. The 24" or 60cm Large English Fire Tools are made with a choice of twisted (as illustrated) shafts or plain shafts.

There are two other sizes of Old English Fire Tools: with 16"(40cm )and 20"(50cm) overall lengths and feature twisted shafts.

All sizes and styles of Old English Tools incorporate heavy weight ring shaped handles.

As shown below this comprehensive range of tools as well as being sold as individual items also forms the basis for a number of attractive black traditional companion sets.

Finally we are introducing gradually a number of brass companion sets to traditional designs.

Sometimes there is requirement to hang one or more of our fire tools against a wall. Our individual tool hooks are ideal for this purpose. They are 3 1/2" or 8cm high and cost £2.05 each.
