21. STOVE GUARDS

Only solid wrought iron is used in their construction and there are no plastic joining parts.

The sides are joined to the front panel with hinges so that the guard can be folded flat in the summer when the stove is not in use.

The Stove Guard illustrated is 130cm (51") wide and the depth from the wall to the front panel is 46cm (18"). The height is 70cm (28").However we 
make each Stove Guard to each customers  individual requirements.

The above picture shows one of the end panels and how it is hinged to the front panel.

Also shown above is the hook at atb the rear of the side panel. This hook engages in an eyelet which is screwed into the wall. (Eyelet not shown).

An optional extra is a door in the front panel of our Stove Guards - see left.

The door can be supplied with a locking device.

22. MESH  STOVE GUARD

Our Mesh Stove Guards can now  made from  1 inch Square Mesh.

This allows the maximum heat flow from the stove and ,of course with a stove there are no sparks to worry about !

We can incorporate a removable top, or indeed have an open top and the position of the door can be changed.

Colour is Black Powder coat

Dimensions of the example shown to the left are:-

Width: 36",or 91.5cm
Height  36" or 91.5cm
Depth (Front to back): 10" or 25.4cm

Door is 24" or 61cm wide x 24" or 61cm high. It is located in the centre of the front of the Guard with the bottom of the door being 3" or 7.6cm above the bottom.

The door hinges are on the \left \hand \side when looking at the |Stove.

There is a small lug on the rear of each side through which a screw can be passed to hold the Stove Guard to the wall or fire surround. As an alternative self adhesive hooks can be supplied.
