screens. We offer 2 sizes:- Medium: 36" w x 24" h (91cm x 61cm h) Large: 48" w x 30" h (122cm x 76cm h) Width dimension quoted above are with the firescreens folded flat. When the 4 Fold firescreens are in position the panels are angled to each other as shown in the picture. Some features of our Nursery Fire guards are:- -Rigid fixed construction with fixed top and sides. -Fixing hooks which secure the screen to the all or fire surround yet allow the screen to easily be removed to reach the fire. -There is a choice of two types of fixing for securing the fire screen to the fire surround or wall. There is the Screw-in version here the eye is screwed into the surround or all on both sides of the fire screen. The hook on the rear of both sides of the Nursery fire screen fits into these eyes and holds it in place. To release the Nursery Fire Screen to reach the fire simply lift Nursery Fire Screen upwards. with the Stick-on version the eye is attached to the surround with self adhesive pad. This is particularly suited when there is a marble surround to which the Nursery Fire screen must be secured. The hook on the rear of the Nursery Fire Guards is shown in the photo at the end of this note. There are three standard sizes of Nursery Fire screen. The

| 21. STOVE GUARDS | |||||
|
|
We make every stove guard to a particular
customers requirements. Only solid wrought iron is used in their construction and there are no plastic joining parts. The sides are joined to the front panel with hinges so that the guard can be folded flat in the summer when the stove is not in use. The Stove Guard illustrated is 130cm (51") wide and the depth from
the wall to the front panel is 46cm (18"). The height is 70cm

| 22. MESH STOVE GUARD | |||||
|
Our Mesh Stove Guards are made from mesh with wider holes than is used to make our firescreens. This allows the maximum heat flow from the stove and ,of course there are no sparks to worry about ! We can incorporate a removable top, or indeed have an open top and the position of the door can be changed. Please ask us for a quotation. |

Special Sizes of Fire screens
We can quote for all kinds of special sized fire screens.
We regularly make special sizes of Nursery Fireguards and often these
are made so that they can be folded away after the winter.
Another popular request is for larger sizes of flat black fire screens
for use with fireplaces in Country Houses. Essentially these are larger
versions of our popular FSH fire screens and FSHL fire screens shown above.
We have special
boxes so that these large fire screens can be safely shipped around the
country.
